"★★★★ – It stimulates and rewards, time and time again" – Empire

Despite unleashing its terrors 50 years ago, the late William Friedkin’s powerful possession pic endures as the ultimate stomach-turning tragi-horror.

When actress Chris MacNeil’s (the inimitable Ellen Burstyn) daughter Regan (Linda Blair) begins acting strangely after playing with a Ouija board, medical professionals have no answer to her symptoms – levitating and speaking in tongues – so she turns to the church for help.

A local priest suspects the child is possessed by a demonic entity so calls in an expert (Max von Sydow) to perform an exorcism.

Please note the Fri 6 Oct, 10pm screening is a Late Night Friday. All tickets £4 for this screening (+60p admin fee for non-members).

Late Night Fridays have no ads or trailers and start promptly at 10pm.
