A rare chance to catch Claude Berri’s two masterpieces on the big screen as we present a double bill of these beloved French dramas this August.

Jean de Florette is set in rural Provence in the 1920s and follows local landowner César Soubeyran and his nephew Ugolin as they scheme to trick new farmer Jean out of his recently inherited property; we pick up the story with Manon des Sources, set 10 years later and following Jean’s daughter - living wild in the Provençal countryside and plotting against the Soubeyrans.
