Most people’s first interaction with a film is the sight of the poster, and those crafted by master poster artist Drew Struzan are instantly recognisable.
Having designed and painted posters for blockbuster hits such as Star Wars, The Thing, Back to the Future, the Indiana Jones franchise, and the Harry Potter franchise, this documentary explores the landscape of the industry and the changing times in which profit casts a shadow above artistic talent.
Followed by discussion and networking space for local graphic designers and artists.
This screening is taking place at Leicester's LCB Depot (31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE). LCB Depot’s creative programme is run for and by artists, with different themes throughout the year. In December LCB's programme explores graphic design.
