Occupying the same space as The Nice Guys - that of criminally underseen but very funny action comedies directed by Shane Black - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang also features an all-timer of a performance from the recently departed Val Kilmer.

After being mistaken for an actor, a New York thief is sent to Hollywood to train under a private eye for a potential movie role, but the duo are soon thrown into a real-life murder mystery.
