This latest exhibition in partnership with the Computer Arts Society presents 20 prints by pioneering artist Marcus West, featuring artwork created over more than 40 years.
This latest exhibition in partnership with the Computer Arts Society presents 20 prints by Marcus West featuring artwork created over more than 40 years.
Starting with his early images made on computer-controlled pen plotters, we see works created in the Pascal language; algorithmic photo-editing images; and finally work created with the Processing language. Throughout his long career, we see Marcus West regularly returning to themes, such as the Fibonacci sequence and mandala-like patterns.
As part of this exhibition, we will be hosting an in-person talk by Marcus West in May – more information will be available soon. An exhibition catalogue will be launched at this event and made available in print and as a downloadable PDF.
