Join us upstairs in The Nest for an evening of spoken word, as Some-Antics comes to the Leicester Comedy Festival! Our February event will include comedy and poetry open mics, plus poetry slam, tunes from Ninja Bob and a performance from Fin MacArthur.

Poetry open mic slots available: 3 minutes per poet, perform one poem, original material only, no hate speech.
Comedy open mic slots available, 5 minutes per slot.
Plus, roughly 7 slam slots available.
Slam etiquette:
• 3 minutes per poet, points deducted for going over time
• 2 rounds of slam
• Perform 1 poem
• Original material only
• Audience judged
• Just for fun or rhyme to the death, either way bring a smile!
The slam winner takes home a custom Some-Antics notebook, £25 cash prize and a place in our Championship Slam 2026!
