Showing: Sat 14 December – Sun 15 December
Schoolboy Andrew ‘Ender’ Wiggins is completely unaware of his alien slaying potential until beating a bully at a hand-held virtual reality game launches him into a whole new stratosphere. Recruited by Battle School for their virtual simulation training, we follow ‘Ender’ as he’s trained by Commander Mazer Rackham (Harrison Ford) for the imminent return of the alien race ‘The Formics’. Ford steers the ship as the assured veteran but Asa Butterfield (Ender) steals the show in this dazzling family adventure.
Showing: Fri 20 December - Thu 26 December (excluding 25 December)
Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey - teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven - to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

After escaping the grasps of Orc Warlord Azog; Bilbo, Gandalf the Grey (Sir Ian McKellen) and Thorin - with his company of dwarves - travel on to the Lonely Mountain where the mighty sleeping dragon Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch) lies in wait. Jackson really turns up the heat in this epic adventure movie and Martin Freeman is once again brilliant as the bumbling Baggins.
