Spark Volunteers Wanted!
Phoenix is looking for friendly and enthusiastic people to help us run our Spark Festival programme of fun, interactive digital artworks and workshops for children and young people.
We're looking for people to supervise artworks, assist with workshops and talk to members of the public about Phoenix's work. If you're available to help out anytime between 10am - 5pm on Wed 29th May to Sun 2nd June we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for talented and motivated people to join the Phoenix catering team:
Sous Chef (£15,444 annual full-time equivalent role)
Commis Chef (£13,000 annual full-time equivalent role)

Phoenix provides a unique programme of world cinema, digital arts and education for growing numbers of people mainly from the greater Leicester area. We expect 180,000 visitors to our cultural programme this year.
Our Cafe provides freshly cooked food, to order, (much locally sourced) to cinema audiences, business clients, local residents and the general public. Business is growing significantly and Phoenix café is now one of the choice places to meet, eat and relax in Leicester. Phoenix is open 363 days of the year with food served from 11:00 to 21:00.
We plan to make a number of appointments at the level of Sous Chef (£15,444 annual full-time equivalent role) and Commis Chef (£13,000 annual full-time equivalent role). Applications will be judged against the criteria of the role including an interview and test.
Appointments may be made on either a full-time or part-time basis depending on the availability of the applicants and our shift requirements. Applicants must be able to fulfil at least one regular eight hour shift per week. All applications must be made on the Phoenix application form and include a statement of your availability for shift work within our opening hours.
