The heart of the technology lies within the stylish modular Xpand 3D glasses which are self-contained, intelligent viewing portals that actively detect an infrared signal from within each cinema that synchronises the glasses with the 3D movie being shown. With the diversity of digital cinemas, every screening is guaranteed to look as amazing as the first and can be used with other types of media ranging from Blu-ray DVD, live broadcasts, internet and computer based presentations.
Durable and robust Xpand 3D has, at 17%, the highest light efficiency of any 3D system on the planet and is the only process that has absolutely no ghosting. Capable of being worn over a customer’s own spectacles the lenses are optimized for viewing large or small screen projections and use eco-friendly diodes that maximise the life of each pair of X101 Series glasses.
