Video Edit Suite
There are two identical video edit suites, offering an On and Off line edit facility, with or without a trained editor.
On Line editing enables the editing of material at broadcast quality (with no compression) which requires specialised equipment.
Off Line editing enables fast and simple editing of video content by exporting lower quality files of the high-quality original material.
A typical cycle will be to edit a project Offline and, when finished, output an Edit Decision List (EDL). This EDL is then used with the original high-quality content using an online editing system which uses the EDL to quickly and automatically cut together a broadcast quality version of the piece.
